A test of rigid and soft body in Cinema 4D. There’s a soft simulation glitch in the end, but that’s how i learn something. It’s not for a real project, so i don’t bother to re-render and re-simulate again. After all, a little error gives a learning process more interesting..

Title and Action Safe in AE

Recently, i got a project which viewed in Full HD 1920×1080 resolution and also on standard 720×576. Apparently, AE CS3 which I’m using isn’t coming with double preview, both HD and SD. Luckily, AE CS5 has this feature. So, I made masks in CS5 and imported it into CS3. I’d love to work fully in CS5, but since i got plugins which worked in 32bit only, I found the guide is useful. If you are like me, who has project to be viewed on HD and SD resolution, perhaps this will also be useful for you. :)

Cinema 4D | Cloner Object

Another test with cloner object in Cinema 4D. I used depth map generated by cinema also to play with the DoF. Using the frischluft depth of field in AE, it gives flexibility to control the blur and focus area. If there’s no frischluft Dof effect in your AE, don’t worry because “lens blur” effect can also be used and it’s a default effect, not a 3rd party plugin. Yes, It’s so much fun..:D

Graphics opener in Cinema 4D

It’s the first intro I made with cinema 4D. It’s a powerful tool to create motion graphics, but the most exciting part is a tight integration with AE.
Notice the text “now in HD” in the end, originally it was just a straight front view footage, but suddenly with camera from cinema4D imported, suddenly it feels like it’s being made in 3D itself. This integration promises new opportunities and opens limitless possibilities. Definitely, i’m going to try out other features..

From my recent project, kids-theme. This one is one of many other assets I created, including color pencils, sudoku cube, paper plane, landscape with trees, house and even the smiley sun.. :D
Created in Maya 2011. Who knows it might be also useful for your projects..:)

Motion Track Test 03

My first test using mocha for AE CS5. It is a planar tracker. I usually use point tracker, ex: PFHoe or syntheyes, but this time I’d wanna give a try. I’m still trying to figure out which button do this and that, but the Imagineer channel is definitely a good place to start.

Motion Track Test 02

Another test with PFHoe-Maya-AE
This time I’m trying to slow down when taking movie, and it actually works.
The tracking got good reference, but some dark spots still left un-tracked, not a good solid one.
Makes me want to try another shot or angle. :)
